Vickie Thomas is the voice you hear when you call APO.  Although she has been on staff only since August 2009, her experience with APO goes back further. 

Vickie's first contact with APO was in October 2004 when she helped a friend set up for an APO silent auction.  Her heart was touched by what she saw that night, so when the call went out the following year for someone to lead the next fundraiser, she quickly volunteered and helped bring about "Building a Legacy" in 2006 with renowned author and speaker Michael Reagan. 

In the spring of 2007, Vickie took a Board position with APO and served until the Administrative Assistant position came open in August of 2009.    "To work with the staff of APO is a dream come true.  It is a Christ-centered ministry of helping those in need, where the staff is like family.  What a blessing!"
